What we do
Our Services

Financial Support
We support the diagnosis and treatment of cancer patients from the economically challenged section of the society. More than half of our annual resources are earmarked for the treatment of women and children/young persons below 18 years of age. Patient selection is based on reference from treating hospitals, oncologists and NGOs serving the cause of the poor.

Enhance Quality of Life
Sahaayika supports the education of children undergoing cancer treatment . We celebrate Rose day, festivals and national events with the patients by organizing nutritious meals, gifts and entertainment. We fund projects that enhance the overall quality of life.

Medical Assistance
We give free medicines to cancer patients as long term medical support as adviced by their doctors. We fund artificial limbs and crutches for cancer patients who had to undergo amputation.

Education & Awareness
Sahaayika conducts programmes in order to spread awareness on lifestyle choices for prevention, early detection of cancer and the importance of regular health check-ups.
